This is your "must" book on your first. Simply Stunning. I have two kids so far. Your "best" book on your second. A "refreshing" reference on your third - if you still have time even to scrath your head.
it's a very comprehensive text that answered questions i hadn't even thought of and covered everything through labor and delivery and beyond. even the pictures of what you might look like each month were helpful as a first-time mom-to-be.
even being pregnant with my second, i still reference this book on a regular basis. this is an excellent resource for first-time moms.
the book normalized many experiences i had while pregnant, which frequently put my mind at ease. this book answered many questions for my husband and me and kept me from freaking out more than once.
i liked having this resource at my fingertips, and it kept me from having to track down my OB every time i had a simple question. the book let me know what to expect without scaring me half to death.
i also liked Your Pregnancy Week By Week for a more detailed breakdown with additional information.
I bought this book as a gift for my daughter who is expecting her first child. I read this book when I was expecting her. It's a really great book.
Not a bad book, really.but not a great book, either.LOTS of information, much of it helpful, but a lot of it rather worrisome. I just don't like the tone of the book; basically, that if you don't do what it says, you're not doing what's best for your baby. The meal plans and ideas were not very realistic for anyone who might suffer from morning sickness (which fortunately I did not).
When I bought the book it said it was a Revised Edition, that is dishonest, it should say something like used or something to let people know it is a second hand book, I thought it was a newer version, that's why I've sent an email to my friends and placed on my facebook about the terrible service you provided.
